COMMUNITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTOR

DESCRIPTION:
The Community Compliance Inspectors perform day-to-day operations of code enforcement tasks relating to the building, land management and Municipal Codes such as interpreting, applying, and enforcing, codes and ordinances.
Inspectors also conduct activities in support of proactive enforcement and community engagement including educating the public about codes and ordinances and promoting voluntary compliance.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in a code enforcement capacity, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) certification within 6 months of hire.
Customer service experience.
Utah State Drivers License.
Knowledge of State and local laws and codes.
Ability to investigate issues and problem solve.
Ability to work professionally with peers and customers during challenging conversations, both verbally and in writing to convey clear and concise information.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
SWPPP enforcement experience.
Building Inspection Certifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
